Velvet Hammer Day is a special burlesque-themed extravaganza celebrating the Velvet Hammer - an old ale aged for 12 months in a gueuze-inoculated oak barrel and then corked in a 750 and bottle-conditioned for a minimum of two months. The festivities kick off at noon when bottles of the Velvet Hammer Fourth, Fifth and Sixth all go on sale. A weird costume contest will follow the burlesque show in the evening. The winner of the contest will receive a Velvet Hammer Vertical, (that's a bottle each of the fourth, fifth and sixth). It's sure to be a show you don't want to miss. Adults only please. 

The A2D2 season is in full force and the rivalry of home teams Huron River Rollers and Tree Town Thrashers is getting hotter than ever! Who will reign supreme in their fourth faceoff of the year? Will the Rollers deliver rivers of blood, or will the Thrashers chop down the competition? Be there and find out! Doors open at 5, and the action starts at 5:30.
